Unfortunately the VIN # only tells us it was a V8 Impala. He says the previous owner (He does not know the complete ownership history) says he figured it was a 409ci car. That said, it has a couple of items leaning towards it could be an original 409ci. It had a return fuel line and a 6,000 rpm redline dash mounted tach which are two 409ci indicators. This '64 Impala had a frame off restoration in 2011. Aprox 24,000 miles have been put on this proven driver. The Impala drives like new! The seller (retired mechanic) has taken numerous highway trips in this Impala and says it has never left him stranded. The black paint has minor chips from being driven and swirl marks from waxing, but there is no rust. Stainless & chrome in very good shape. One small dent behind the drivers side wheel well. Owner is downsizing so sorry no trades!
